This is the second time in 3 years I have used Alliance Inspection. First time in fall of 2015 was great…very thorough. This most recent, Aug 2018, I was disappointed that the inspector didn’t bring a tall enough ladder to inspect the roof. The house is a normal 2 story, and the inspector said he could only get on the roof if it was a single story access. I then had to find a separate roof inspector. For the price of the inspection, I felt like a discount should have been given because this large item couldn’t be checked. I should note that it was raining that day and he probably would not have been able to do so had he brought the correct ladder. I would have given 5 stars if he had offered to come back out at a future date with the correct ladder.
I am building a new home and wanted someone to do third party phase inspection. I found Tim from Texas Real Estate Commission’s website. Tim has very good knowledge about all the elements in the home construction. He found almost 15 items to be repaired and I feel that the money spent on phase inspection is very well worth. He was very nice to work with and explained things to my builder clearly. He has very good knowledge on the latest city codes. I highly recommend Tim for doing phase inspection.

Great inspector found more things than the foundation company that had just been out they were very through and took time to talk to us about everything that they found and explained everything to us we didn’t understand
Gary was at the location 10-15 minutes before the start time so there was no waiting. He explained the process and was very thorough. Although we did not end up purchasing the house, we will be using them again.
